MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
The Foundation's activities in the area of multiple sclerosis began with the diagnosis of MS, which Urszula Jaworska's daughter - Aleksandra Baranowska received in 2011. It was her experiences, problems with obtaining reliable knowledge and support after receiving the diagnosis that initiated a series of workshops for patients, which were conducted throughout the country for 3 years. In 2015 , we published an educational calendar with actors and athletes dedicated to education on the subject of multiple sclerosis and educated during the Festival of Stars in Międzyzdroje.
The Foundation's long-term project in this area was to initiate and work towards the creation of coordinated care ( KOSM ). Together with many experts, we participated in work on changes to the standard of care for patients with multiple sclerosis, we initiated public consultations addressed to patients, medics and people managing medical facilities. As a result of this work , KOSM was created - Coordinated Care in Multiple Sclerosis , which was directed for implementation by the Order of the President of the National Health Fund No. 93/2019/DSOZ of July 16, 2019 .
