WZW
The Foundation's activities in the area of hepatitis since 2021 are focused on the nationwide social campaign #CzasNasGoni, authored and implemented by Sebastian Gawlik . As part of the campaign, educational activities are carried out via social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Threads, YouTube), as well as online meetings with Prof. Dorota Zarębska-Michaluk for patients and people interested in the subject of hepatitis and liver diseases.
One of the main goals of the campaign is to eliminate HCV infections, which is why an integral part of it is the organization of a free testing campaign. Thanks to the established cooperation with the Świat Zdrowia and CMD Siedlce clinic networks, free anti-HCV tests are available in almost 100 primary healthcare clinics throughout the country. We also regularly organize our own campaigns, thanks to which we reach an increasing number of residents with knowledge about WZW .
our country.
As part of the campaign, we prepare printed educational materials, TV spots and video materials.
In 2024 , the Foundation received a distinction, the Ewa Borek "Leader of Patient Centres" 2024 award for the #CzasNasGoni campaign - a campaign of free anti-HCV testing, raising awareness of hepatitis B and C and promoting preventive tests.
Our Foundation is the initiator of the Government Health Policy Program called "DAA Treatment of Chronic Hepatitis C in Patients Incarcerated in Penitentiary Institutions" for the years 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 – 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 and the implementer of testing and educational activities in the Program. We carry out our activities based on a tripartite Agreement between the Foundation, the Minister of Health and the Ministry of Justice , as well as the Framework Agreement and Agreement between the Foundation and the Central Board of the Prison Service .
The Foundation's activities in the project are possible thanks to the grants we obtain from the following companies: 𝗔𝗯𝗯𝘃𝗶𝗲, 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗔𝗯𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁
